Doug was a charter member of the SYLN during its formation in 1997 while serving as a youth pastor in Springfield.  He began serving as Acting Coordinator in January, 2004, and answered the call to become Coordinator in June of 2005.  His role with the Network is a self-supporting "missionary" position, as he continues to raise his own support to serve in a part-time role in this position.

Doug is a veteran youth pastor with over 30 years of youth ministry and church staff experience, having served in various ministries around the U.S.
